Open Position: Director of Academic Technologies Research
The Office of Academic Technologies has an open position for a Director of Academic Technologies Research. Responsibilities of this position include researching and developing of templates, modules and plugins for applications and platforms used in the College, collaborating with faculty and staff to develop information architectures for college sites, and assisting principal investigators with technology budget proposals.
This employee would report to the Executive Director of Academic Technologies and would be part of a strategic planning team, which includes the Director of IT and the Director of Web Application Development for the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences.
A Bachelor’s degree is required, (Masters preferred) and substantial experience with academic research projects using networked information, databases, digital resources, quantitative or qualitative analytic applications. Some experience with programming and software development.
