The key to working efficiently is not repeating work you have already done. Have single sources, if the information you need is already published elsewhere link to it, do not copy. If you copy you will need to waste time to keep each version of the information up to date, you are introducing more opportunities for errors to occur, and confusing people who are trying to find the authoritative source.

Many sites on CLAS Pages function as blogs (i.e. add new posts on a regular basis about news, updates, announcements or just random thoughts). Some posts are very long but might be interesting only to a small group of readers. Some sites may want their readers to scan all recent posts quickly. Post excerpts can help.
The “More tag” allows you to specify how much text to show initially when viewing a site’s main page. This tag will then insert a link to “Read More” or “Continue reading.” When readers click on this link they’ll see the full post. Here’s how to set it up:
