The Office of Academic Technologies specifies computer hardware standards that are appropriate for most faculty and staff computing needs in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. We work with OAT technical personnel and distributed consultants in the departments along with OneIT and UNC system standards to provide the most useful and cost-effective hardware available.

If you have specialized research needs for which these standards will not suffice, please work closely with your departmental IT support person to ensure that your hardware, if purchased, can be used at UNC Charlotte.
