I study myosin II, the protein responsible for force generation in muscle, cell locomotion and intracellular trafficking. I combine protein\u00a0mutagenesis,\u00a0site directed labeling,\u00a0multifrequency\u00a0Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) and transient time-resolved fluorescence resonance energy transfer (TR<sup>2<\/sup>FRET) to explore myosin functional dynamics on molecular and submolecular\u00a0level.
