chart<\/a><\/strong> (1551 colors)<\/li>\n<li class=\"style25\">Subtractive color: CMYK color for reflective surfaces. <strong>Absorption<\/strong> of light for perception.\n<ul>\n<li>subtractive primary colors: <span class=\"style24\">cyan, magenta, and yellow<\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"style24\">subtractive secondary colors: red, green, and blue.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"style25\">Process color: &#8220;overprinting the same sheet four times with four different inks&#8221; We have to print out our designs in order to know what they&#8217;ll look like on paper. Sometimes having too many choices is daunting, but keep the one unbreakable design rule in mind: &#8220;Just because you can do something doesn&#8217;t mean you should.&#8221; After all, you want to avoid <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/dictionary.reference.com\/browse\/garish\">garishness!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"style25\"><b><span style=\"font-size: large\">Color Schemes<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"style25\">Let&#8217;s head over to a <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/webpages.uncc.edu\/~atoscano\/fall2013\/engl4182-5182\/colorschemes.html\">page on color schemes<\/a><\/strong>, so we can talk about what they mean culturally and, of course, rhetorically.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Creating Color on Screens and Paper Let&#8217;s see if we can&#8217;t make some sense out of the Adobe color pickers.
