Almost a year ago, my wife and I welcomed our first (and currently only) child into the world. He turns 1 on Sunday, and that’s amazing to me.<\/p>\n

The quickness that the past year has gone by is really amazing, it seems like just yesterday Max was born, and now he’s walking whole lot, eating table food, and while his vocabulary is mostly nonsensical, he talks a lot too. How can this have happened? I surely remember him starting to this stuff, but it just seems so fast. Too fast. As in, I think my son, the\u00a0genius, \u00a0sped up time. Ok, I’m sure I’m not the only parent to ever think this, but the past year just seems to have gone by at warp speed.<\/p>\n

Well before I get into my\u00a0theories about how babies and little kids warp the space-time\u00a0continuum\u00a0\u00a0(ok, I’m probably just keeping these to myself, so go ahead and breath that sigh of relief). I just wanted to publicly wish my son a happy first birthday. May he have an over abundance of them, and may they all celebrate how awesome,\u00a0fascinating\u00a0and incredible his life has been thus far.<\/p>\n

Happy Birthday Max! I love you buddy.<\/p>\n
