He credits much of his clinical and academic success to influential educators who inspired and mentored him through his clinical and academic journeys.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Philosophy<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Individuals interpret their environments based on their unique individual experiences, which are constantly evolving in a thoroughgoing flux. Dr. Smith aims to create a positive, supportive learning environment both in and out of the classroom.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">Dualistic Transactions<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Smith encourages autonomy and diversity of culture and thought. He encourages students to maximize their potential, emphasizing independent thinking and psychological well-being.
