The UNC Charlotte Faculty Connections site has profile and research interest information for many faculty at UNC Charlotte.  Faculty listed on this site can update their own profile and research information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Logging into Faculty Connections<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To log into Faculty Connections do the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to UNC Charlotte Faculty Connections > Log in<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Type in your NinerNET username and password<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Finding your Connections Page<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    You can find your Connections page by searching for your name<\/a> in the search bar below or by clicking on the link to your department and browsing to your name in the listing of department faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You can edit your Connection Page to add Profile and contact information as well as your academic interests as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Log in (see above)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Find your Connections page (see above)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Click on the \u201cEdit Connection\u201d link at the top of your Connections page<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Locate the Contact Info panel and add your contact information<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Locate the Content panel and add your profile information<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Locate the \u201cAcademic Interests\u201d panel in the right sidebar<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. Click on \u201cChoose from the most used link\u201d and click on existing links that describe your academic interests<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    8. Click on the \u201cx\u201d for current interest links attributed to you that are NOT relevant<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    9. Type in the field any interests you have that is NOT included in existing links and click the \u201cAdd\u201d button to add<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    10. Click on the \u201cUpdate\u201d button<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    11. Click the \u201cView Connections\u201d link at the top of the page to confirm your updates<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

      The goal of these academic interest links is to find connections between UNC Charlotte faculty.  To this end, it is a good strategy to chose interests from those that already exist (i.e. from the \u201cmost used link\u201d list).  That said, many researchers do have unique research interests and so if your research is not in the list, feel free to add it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
