In 2025, I was honored to receive the inaugural Faculty Service and Leadership Award for UNC Charlotte&#8217;s College of Humanities &amp; Earth and Social Sciences. I am also a past recipient of the Outstanding Teaching Award for Full-Time Lecturer in UNC Charlotte&#8217;s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size: small\">Prior to arriving in Charlotte, I served as Assistant Professor of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.csub.edu\/philosophyrs\">Philosophy at California State University\u00a0 Bakersfield<\/a> (2003-2007) and earned my PhD from the <a href=\"http:\/\/web.phil.ufl.edu\">University of Florida<\/a> (2003), where I also served for four years as Associate Editor for two journals: <em>Business and Professional Ethics Journal<\/em> and <em>Professional Ethics Journal<\/em>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ancient Ethics in Athens!
