field-label-hidden\">Dr. Diana Rowan is a Professor in the School of Social Work in the College of Health and Human Services at UNC Charlotte. \u00a0Her research has been funded by a $1.1 million grant from U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Minority AIDS Research Initiative (MARI). \u00a0She has designed and conducts a faculty-led social work study abroad course in \u00a0Malawi in southeastern Africa. \u00a0She is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of North Carolina. \u00a0She joined UNC Charlotte in 2007.<\/div>\n<div class=\"field
