Considerably fewer words adopt the \u201c\u0418\u201d ending: only feminine words ending in \u201c\u042c\u201d and \u201c\u0418\u042f,\u201d and neuter words that end in \u201c\u0418\u0415.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Usually you cannot really hear the difference between \u201c\u0418\u201d and \u201cE\u201d endings, since they are seldom stressed. Still, if you want to be a good speller, it\u2019s good to know when each of them is used. Besides, many names of the countries of the world end in -\u0418\u042f in Russian, so they will adopt \u201c\u0418\u201d in prepositional:<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
