Profile:
Dipanwita joined the Laboratory for Remote Sensing and Environmental Change (LRSEC) in 2018 as a Masters Student. Prior to joining LRSEC, she served as a cartographer at the Department of Architecture, Jadavpur University (JU), India, as well as a project assistant at the School of Oceanographic Studies, JU. Her research during her tenure at JU focused on applications of GIS; more specifically in developing land use and transportation models, municipality database development and management, as well as wetland conservation in and around the city of Kolkata.
