[read more=&#8217;Read more&#8217; less=&#8217;Read less&#8217;] In particular, I study fluctuations in the American welfare state; citizen interactions with regulatory and safety-net policies; households\u2019 navigation of public and private insurance products; and the politics of policy implementation, durability, and retrenchment.
