Our first topic focuses on &#8220;What is Smart Growth&#8221; with speakers Dr. Douglas Shoemaker and Taiwo Jaiyeoba.<\/p>\n<p><strong>March<\/strong><br \/>\nOur event for March will have the theme &#8220;Greenways People and Urban Ecosystems&#8221; on Thursday, March 29 at 7 p.m. in EPIC 2222. Our speakers will be Sara Gagn\u00e9 and Rick Winiker.<\/p>\n<p><strong>April<\/strong><br \/>\nOur event for this month will be the Charlotte Food Policy Summit on April 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with the location TBD. INSS will be one of the sponsors, along with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Food Policy Council.<\/p>\n<p><strong>June<\/strong><br \/>\nOur conference will be June 6-8.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Integrated Network for Social Sustainability is launching our first Charlotte seminar series!
