As part of a new project on the origins American scientific forestry I am creating an interactive map illustrating the the birthplace and work locations of students at several early forestry schools, starting with the Yale Forest School. Started in 1900 by Gifford Pinchot and Henry S. Graves, the Yale Forest School was one of the earliest and most influential forestry programs in the Unites States.
You can visit the project here.
The map will be updated periodically.
