Located in Macy 216, the Cuneiform Studies Laboratory is a restricted-access reference collection of academic resources which pertain to the scholarly study of Near Eastern languages and religions.\u00a0It is housed within the Department of Religious Studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and curated by Professor John C. Reeves.<\/p>\n<p>2. Potential users of the Laboratory must satisfy the curator that they are engaged in serious study for which access to the Laboratory is necessary, and that they will treat the Laboratory\u2019s holdings, furnishings, and equipment with care.\u00a0Admittance is normally limited to university faculty, graduate students directly engaged in relevant philological studies, or individual advanced undergraduate students who are pursuing research projects or enhancing assignments associated with the departmental curriculum.<\/p>\n<p>3. The Laboratory is not a loan collection.\u00a0Users may not borrow books or data disks from the Laboratory under any circumstances.\u00a0Arrangements however can sometimes be made for a limited xerographic reproduction of essential materials for the purpose of off-site study.<\/p>\n<p>4. The telephone in the Laboratory may be used for campus or local calls only.<\/p>\n<p>5. The computer resources in the Laboratory may be used for academic purposes only.<\/p>\n<p>6.
