CLAS faculty and staff may request software be installed on computers in various CLAS computer labs using the following form:
Please submit one form per lab for software you’d like to have installed in a lab. Include requests for free and open-source software as well as paid software. Use this site to see what software is currently installed on various lab computers.
All software requests for labs maintained by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences must be submitted with a minimum of 2 weeks lead time.
Requests for software do not guarantee that the specific software being requested will be installed in the lab. All requests will be reviewed by CLAS IT and a determination will be made on a per-case basis. At times, an alternative software option may be presented, if applicable. The CLAS IT team might be able to help coordinate funding, but most specialty software packages will need to be purchased by the instructor’s department.
