Purchasing a new ALEKS PPL license

The ALEKS PPL license provided by UNC Charlotte expires after one year. You can purchase a new license directly from ALEKS. It costs about $16. Use the link (it’s the same as the link at the bottom of the  math placement page). You’ll be taken to a page where you can select “Add Class” (see the picture below). If you click that link, you will be prompted for a 10-digit class code. The code you should use is

EVKDC-P3FVA

You will then need to purchase an access code.

Once you have purchased the access code, you will be able to continue progressing through the ALEKS PPL assessment. The password is the same: CHARLOTTE1.

Very important: when you are satisfied with your score on the placement assessment, you must email math-placement@charlotte.edu so that your score can be updated in Banner. Then you will be able to register for your math courses.
