My computer doesn’t support Respondus Monitor. How can I take the assessment? If you do not have access to a Mac or PC with a working web camera, you can borrow one for free from the Atkins Library for up to 21 days. Alternatively, you can make an appointment with Ree Linker (jlinker2@uncc.edu) to take the assessment in the Math Learning Center on the third floor of the Fretwell building on campus (FRET 330). Note that the assessment cannot be taken on a Chromebook.
What do I do if my web browser gets stuck or my computer crashes while I’m taking the Placement Assessment? Simply close the browser, or log out and log back in. ALEKS will resume the Placement Assessment exactly where you left off, with no loss of your previous answers.
