I am from Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. I studied at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C; where I received a Doctoral degree in Linguistics. I enjoy teaching and working with students. I have taught elementary and intermediate school Spanish, as well as all levels of College Spanish. I received a Certificate of Teaching Excellence (2006-2007) from Virginia Tech University. I currently coordinate the Elementary Spanish courses at UNC-Charlotte.
