The lab had a great spring, hosting a massive conference on “Capitalism and Violence” in April in addition to several smaller events. Lab associates continued important work on the political economy of policing project. Martin Shuster and Fred Batista were also awarded a NEXUS seed grant from the College of the Humanities and Earth Sciences at UNC-Charlotte to pursue research on antisemitism and logics of exclusion to begin in the fall of 2025.
