Your textbook (Serway) uses x_i, v_i, t_i  as the symbols for initial values of position, velocity and time.   The lecture movies refer to these same quantities by the symbols, x₀, v₀, t₀  

This lecture is long…  Feel free to fast forward over sections you already get.  I wanted to be sure I covered and addressed all questions students usually have on this material. Understanding the beginning of Chapter 2 is critical to getting off to a good start…
