APPAM to Sponsor Sessions at January WEAI Conference in New Zealand

APPAM is sponsoring several conference sessions at next year’s Western Economic Association International’s (WEAI) Pacific Rim Conference. Maureen Pirog, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management , is requesting papers from APPAM members and will be organizing the sessions. She is requesting papers that cover any topic within policy analysis and management be submitted by June 25, 2014. Pirog will be organizing the sponsored sessions from the selection of submitted papers. Full panels will also be considered on any topic within policy analysis and management; panels with at least three papers, three discussants, and a chair will receive strong preference. Read more

What I’d like to do is take a look back at the most memorable things that have happened since 2010. Read more

Fall Research Conference Caucus Proposals Accepted Through June 13

The 2014 APPAM Fall Research Conference is continuing the caucus program format, which debuted last year. The primary purpose for these sessions is to offer a dedicated time for participants to gather informally to discuss new and emerging policy issues, to formulate new research questions, approaches to research and to form possible research collaborations. Unlike last year, however, we do not intend to limit these sessions to one weekend morning. Depending on the response, we will offer caucus sessions throughout the conference. Members are invited to submit their caucus proposals through June 13. Read more
