- Steven Ingersoll was recognized as the Outstanding Chemistry M.S. Graduate Student.
- Steven Ingersoll was also named the Outstanding CLAS M.S. Graduate Student.
- Dr. Ren received the CU Denver Research Grand Challenges Round 2 Award, leading a multidisciplinary team to address societal issues in the epigenetic field.

- Dr. Ren was named CU Denver Lynx Lecturer.

- Our Journal of Biological Chemistry (JBC) paper was selected as one of the “Significant Papers from 100+ Years of JBC” (46 papers total), an honor shared with papers linked to Nobel Prizes.
- The Ren lab received the CU Denver “Perseverance Award” for Pandemic Research and Creative Activities.
- Kyle Brown was recognized as the Outstanding Chemistry M.S. Graduate Student.

- Dr. Ren received the CU Denver Campus-wide Award for Research and Creative Activities.

- Dr. Ren received the CU Denver CLAS Excellence in Research and Creative Activities Award.

- Dr. Ren was nominated by CU Denver (Downtown and Anschutz campuses) for the Pew Scholars Program.
