Graduate Student.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Steven Ingersoll was also named the Outstanding CLAS M.S. Graduate Student.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dr. Ren received the CU Denver Research Grand Challenges Round 2 Award, leading a multidisciplinary team to address societal issues in the epigenetic field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2022<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dr. Ren was named CU Denver Lynx Lecturer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dr. Ren won the CU Denver Research Grand Challenges Round 1 Award, leading a multidisciplinary team to address societal challenges in epigenetics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2021<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Our <em>Journal of Biological Chemistry<\/em> (JBC) paper was selected as one of the &#8220;Significant Papers from 100+ Years of JBC&#8221; (46 papers total), an honor shared with papers linked to Nobel Prizes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Ren lab received the CU Denver &#8220;Perseverance Award&#8221; for Pandemic Research and Creative Activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kyle Brown was recognized as the Outstanding Chemistry M.S. Graduate Student.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2020<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dr. Ren received the CU Denver Campus-wide Award for Research and Creative Activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dr. Ren was honored with the CU Denver CLAS Excellence in Research and Creative Activities Award.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>R01 GM135286 was funded by NIH\/NIGMS, with Dr. Ren as Principal Investigator (PI).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our JBC paper was designated as &#8220;Paper of the Week&#8221; in <em>Journal of Biological Chemistry<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2017<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Thao Huynh was recognized as the Outstanding Chemistry Undergraduate Student.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2016<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dr. Ren received the CU Denver CLAS Excellence in Research and Creative Activities Award.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NIH\/NIAMS funded 1R01AR070299-01A1, with Dr. Ren as co-Investigator (co-I), contributing one summer month annually.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NIH\/NCI funded R03CA191443, with Dr. Ren as PI.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2015<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dr. Ren was nominated by CU Denver (Downtown and Anschutz campuses) for the Pew Scholars Program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Roubina Tatavosian was recognized as the Outstanding CLAS M.S.
