Q:<\/strong> What is the total length of the time involved in the video sessions and completing the surveys? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

A:<\/strong> We are asking teams to record the entirety of 4 consecutive virtual team meetings (e.g. recording on Zoom or other platform). Since these are your working meetings, the duration of these are up to you, and the total time involved in the study is based on the timeframe for 4 consecutive meetings (e.g. if you meet weekly, approximately 4 weeks). <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Q:<\/strong> How long does it take to complete the surveys? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: <\/strong>Each team member would receive a demographics survey (~10 minutes to complete), a survey to complete after each meeting (~ 5 minutes), and 6 surveys to complete at pre-determined intervals in-between meetings (~ 5 minutes). Note that we would provide the \u201cteam leader\u201d a link to distribute the after meeting surveys to the team, but we will handle the other survey distributions. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Q:<\/strong> When is the research scheduled to take place?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A:<\/strong> Once everyone on your team consents to participate, we would begin with the next group meeting. However, if there are other factors that may affect this timeline for you, we could be flexible with the start date.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Q:<\/strong> Do we record or does someone from your project record? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A:<\/strong> The designated “team leader” would record the meetings and send us the recording via secure cloud transfer (dropbox\/google drive transfer or Zoom cloud recording) <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Q:<\/strong> If someone from the project records, what is the process for handling any confidential information?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A:<\/strong> Team videos will be kept confidential and we are only analyzing videos to understand group dynamics and behaviors. We are not analyzing or keeping note of any information shared in the videos. In addition, we have separate teams interfacing with groups and analyzing the group videos.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Q: <\/strong>We are a small team who know each other extremely well! Our meetings are informal–do we have a say in when the recordings would occur? Is it possible to edit parts of the recording that are not directly related to the research? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A:<\/strong> We are asking for complete, un-edited videos of the meetings. Informal talk before or after the \u2018meeting\u2019 portion of the video is fine to include.  <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Q:<\/strong> Can international teams participate in this research? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
