Resident Interviews » Pegram, Darlene

Pegram, Darlene

Darlene Pegram was born in New York, but moved to Charlotte with her mother, Anne Glover in 1975. She has lived in the neighborhood since that time and her mother was an active member in various community organizations. Ms. Pegram recalls some of the local events in Revolution Park and participated in rallies against the pool removal. Her interview is important to the project, because it details much of the events and aspects of the neighborhood that makes it unique. Ms. Pegram currently resides in the home of her late mother, in Revolution Park.
