Before coming to Charlotte, I completed my Ph.D. at Emory University in Atlanta and worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany.&nbsp;My research examines how organizations shape career outcomes. Career outcomes include income, promotions, changing employers, and the decision to stay in a specific occupation. So far, all my research focused on employees within large organizations. However, the nature of work is evolving quickly, and more people work as in the Platform Economy.
