Perceptive Content (formerly known as ImageNow) is a document management system used to track and store electronic documents. It uploads, organizes, and stores documents and content. This can include items such as email, electronic files, multimedia, XML and hundreds of other formats in addition to scanned documents.

Kaltura CaptureSpace is a video and screencast presentation tool. Kaltura CaptureSpace is available in UNC Charlotte’s Canvas instance. The tool has the ability to record a multimedia presentation, record screen and voice, record screen and video, record from a webcam, or record audio only. Captions can be added to the video through Canvas’ My Media link. Videos can also be embedded on a Canvas page and streamed from the external Katura server, optimizing playback and saving storage space in the Canvas course.
Interactive quizzes can be added to existing Kaltura videos.

Poll Everywhere is a polling application and student response system. Instructors can engage students in class with real-time interactive questions. The live audience can use mobile devices like phones, tablets, or laptops to participate. Participation is conducted by using a mobile-friendly web page, the Poll Everywhere app, sending text messages, or by using Twitter.
