WebEx logoWebEx is a web and video conferencing meeting service that consists of four centers: Meeting Center, Training Center, Event Center, and Support Center.

Meeting Center – sessions can be scheduled in advance and added to your calendar. Integrated voice and video, ability to share content, invite attendees, record the session. Meeting Center also includes a Personal Room with a web address that never changes, allowing students and colleagues to easily find your meetings.

Training Center – sessions can be scheduled in advance. It has all of the Meeting Center features plus polling, testing, and breakout session options.

Event Center – schedule large-scale online events. It has all of the Meeting Center features plus the ability to manage the event from invitations, reminder emails, and follow up communication.

Support Center – ability to view and control a customer’s desktop or applications to help resolve technical issues remotely.

WebEx runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, and mobile devices. UNC Charlotte Faculty, Staff and Students can access the system via webex.uncc.edu.

ScreenFlow

Screenflow logoScreenFlow is a screencasting and video editing software for the Macintosh platform. The software allows users to add transitions, annotations, text, audio and video filters, multi-channel audio mixing, chroma key and callouts. ScreenFlow has the ability to add mouse click effects, adjust mouse pointer size, and display keys that are pressed during the screen recording.

Screenflow 5 can record audio and video from connected iOS8 devices. Note: This feature requires iOS 8 or higher + Mac OS X 10.10 or higher + lightning connection to USB.

Videos can be exported directly to YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive, Dropbox, Facebook, Wistia, or Telestream Cloud from within the application.

This software is only available for the Macintosh platform.

BB FlashBack Pro

BB FlashbackBB FlashBack Pro is a Windows screen recording program that allows the user to record a window,  region, or their full screen. Keystrokes are also recorded and displayed.

The recording can then be annotated with text effects, drawings, highlights, interactive buttons, arrows, and transitions. Editing options include frame-by-frame video editing, multi-track audio editing, and the ability to even out volume in a movie.

Available effects are start and end titles, magnifying a part of the movie, localization, support for multiple languages in movies, and export/import translations or translated text.

Movies can be exported to Flash, AVI, MPEG4, WMV, GIF, QuickTime (H264), PPT or EXE file formats.

BB FlashBack Pro is only for the Windows platform.
