GraphPad Prism combines scientific graphing, comprehensive curve fitting (nonlinear regression), understandable statistics, and data organization. The software was originally designed for experimental biologists in medical schools and drug companies, but is now used by all kinds of biologists, social, and physical scientists to analyze, graph and present their graphical data.

Prism can create highly-customizable graphs that can be exported as high-resolution image files for publications, PowerPoint presentations, Web sites, Word documents, and more.

GraphPad Prism is available for both Windows and Macintosh computers.

Past is free software for scientific data analysis, with functions for data manipulation, plotting, univariate and multivariate statistics, ecological analysis, time series and spatial analysis, morphometrics and stratigraphy.

Past went through a complete redesign in 2013.

Minitab is a statistics package developed at the Pennsylvania State University in 1972. It contains functions such as graphing, regression, variance analysis, process control, reliability analysis, multivariate analysis, equivalence tests, simulation, and macro customization.    Today, Minitab is often used in conjunction with the implementation of Six sigma, CMMI and other statistics-based process improvement methods.
