Welcome to the VICE squad! Our mission is to increase knowledge and understanding of groups at work and in society. Our lab is open to undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty who are interested in groups as they relate to:
- Entitativity (feelings of groupy-ness) in face-to-face and online groups
- Sense of community in organizations, online groups, and virtual communities
- How participation in online/FtF groups and communities affects individuals, their organizations, and their communities.
- Meetings and entitativity, particularly now that employees are remote.
We have many projects in the works on these topics and would be happy to talk with other students and faculty interested in these ideas as well as have faculty and students present their ideas to our lab!
Come to VICE lab and let your (research) freak flag fly!
We also like to have fun in our lab and share mentoring and other information. If you are interested in this, check out Dr. B’s Advice to the world, from our own Dr. Anita Blanchard.
