Born Christopher Justin Hall in Charlotte NC, I have been alive for a little over a quarter of a decade. Raised one the west side of the city, I graduated from Harding University High School. From there I went on to spend four years at Appalachian State University where I received a Bachelors of Science in Appropriate Technology with a concentration in renewable energy. After graduating I spent a few years working in Charlotte doing odd jobs hear and there, but the majority of my time was spent as a raft guide at the United State National Whitewater Center. In 2013 I decided to apply to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where I was accepted for the Fall 2013 semester. Now in my second semester here, I am scheduled to receive my Master of Arts in Liberal Studies (MALS) in December of 2015.
A lot of people ask me what the MALS program is all about, the simplest way I have found to describe it is that it’s a build your own major, graduate degree. I chose to focus my program on advertising and old/new media. I have always been interested in different types of marketing and after doing some research I figured this program was the best fit for me. When I’m not in school or working as a graphic designer, you can find me playing music, something I’ve been doing for over a decade, or riding bicycles around town. I also enjoy traveling and camping. When I grow up I . . . actually, I never want to grow up!
