I began my undergraduate studies at North Carolina A&amp;T State University and graduated with a Bachelors in Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, Concentration in Mass Communications from Winston-Salem State University in 2012. Currently, I&#8217;m in the Middle Grades English\/Language Arts Teaching Graduate Certificate program at UNC Charlotte. In the fall, I will be switching to the Masters in Liberal Studies program.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m a sports and music nerd. I love 80s music and movies. 1984 was the best year for both in the 80s. That&#8217;s also the year that I was born so maybe that had something to do with it&#8230; I&#8217;m sure it didn&#8217;t!<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m currently employed at UNC Charlotte. I serve as a Program Coordinator in the Office of Multicultural Academic Services. I coordinate two programs in our department: Building Better Brothers, a minority male mentoring program and University Transition Opportunities Program, a summer bridge program for incoming freshman where students have an opportunity to start college early, gain 7 credit hours and get acclimated to the university early.
