I have learned how to use word press, which is no small feat (Thank you, <a href=\"http:\/\/pages.charlotte.edu\/visualrhetoric\/blog\/author\/rwinterl\/\">Racheal Winterling<\/a>!).<\/p>\n<p>On my first two projects I worked with a partner, Shawn Simmons. Together we created the webpages &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/pages.charlotte.edu\/visualrhetoric\/projects\/still-photography\/group-two\/\">The War on Poverty<\/a>&#8221; and &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/pages.charlotte.edu\/visualrhetoric\/projects\/illustration-video\/crimea\/\">The Crimean Status Referendum Billboards<\/a>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I created the third and final project individually. &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/pages.charlotte.edu\/visualrhetoric\/projects\/individual-projects\/the-crimean-war-by-roger-fenton\/\">The Crimean War as photographed by Roger Fenton<\/a>&#8221; grew organically from the first two projects I created with Shawn, blending photo-documentation with my interest the Crimean Peninsula.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, I am thankful for the chance to be part of creating <em>Visual Rhetoric<\/em> with <a href=\"http:\/\/pages.charlotte.edu\/visualrhetoric\/blog\/author\/gawickli\/\">Dr. Gregory Wickliff<\/a>, and I am excited about the things I have learned.
