Objective (s):<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

To educate K-12 students and the community in general about the principles, benefits and applications of nanotechnology<\/span>. To reach our goal we are developing an outreach program in our lab called \u201cThink Big\u00a0 Do <\/span>Nano<\/span>\u201d<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The first target of this program is put together a workshop
\ncalled \u201cBig things from a small world\u201d<\/span>, which will include presentations and
\nexperiments related with nanotechnology and its applications. This workshop is
\ngoing to be presented next year in K-12 schools and science fairs around the
\nCharlotte community.<\/p>\n
