Our work also involves applications related to photocatalysis and materials for photovoltaic or <a href=\"https:\/\/pubs.acs.org\/doi\/10.1021\/cr1002326\">solar fuels applications<\/a>. Our work spans materials research, organic synthesis, hybrid organic\/inorganic systems, and <span style=\"color: #555555\">nanoscience.<\/span> We are particularly interested in enhancing the light harvesting and energy (exciton) transfer mechanisms found in <a href=\"http:\/\/pubs.rsc.org\/en\/Content\/ArticleLanding\/2015\/TC\/C4TC02232G#!divAbstract\">porphyrin thin films<\/a> and organic electrochromic materials.
