About: The G&ES Soils Lab is run by Dr. M.C. Eppes of the Department of Geography and Earth Sciences at UNC Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina. The lab is employed by students for classwork and for research, by other faculty members throughout UNC Charlotte, and by external clients from Charlotte and beyond. The lab is equipped to handle a variety of basic soil and sediment analyses. Fees for analyses vary by analysis and are on a per-sample basis (contact Eppes for a quote for services). Note: most analyses require a < 2 mm portion of samples.
