Thank you for visiting my homepage. I am an Associate Professor of the Systems Engineering and Engineering Management Program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
I earned my Ph.D. degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech. My M.S. and B.S. degrees are from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
My teaching covers a broad range of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management disciplines. On the other hand, my research is focused on Operations Research. Topics include nondifferentiable optimization for solving Lagrangian duals of large-scale MIPs, network games using multilevel programming, optimal stopping, supply chain analysis, project risk management, and structural change in time-series.
