I am currently a visiting associate research professor at UNC-Charlotte, but live in Philadelphia where I am involved with the Drexel Urban Health Collaborative, and teaching geospatial data science courses at the University of Pennsylvania. I serve as the editor in chief for Cartography and Geographic Information Science

I am still engaged to research around the Charlotte area, specifically (1) modeling the spatial variation of water contaminants in Gaston County using Bayesian Geostatistical Modeling and Machine Learning (with Jiaxin Liu, Ph.D. student) – funded by the NCDOJ (2) understanding disparities in access to day care services in Mecklenburg County (with colleagues in Sociology).
