Joyce Beggs teaches in the areas of strategic management and business ethics. Before coming to UNC Charlotte in 1989, she taught at West Virginia University. Her research interests include strategic management, organizational commitment, human resources management issues, business ethics and entrepreneurship, and her articles have been published in a number of journals. She is an active member of several professional organizations and served as editor of a case journal. She has received awards in recognition of casewriting, teaching, and service to professional organizations.
