Biography
Dr. Saffeer M. Khan, P.E., is the Energy Production and Infrastructure Center’s Associate Professor of Practice and Flexible Energy Laboratory Manager. Dr. Khan joins EPIC from Arkansas Tech University where he was an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering. Dr. Khan’s research areas of interests are electrical machines and drives, internet of things, and machine/deep learning, radio frequency and acoustic signal processing, sustainability and energy auditing, and engineering education. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from UNC Charlotte; his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan; and his B.E. in Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan.
