Research Interests
My research interests lie broadly in the area of solid-state lasers and guided wave optics with emphasis on developing semiconductor industry compatible integration platforms for active and passive components at wafer level. My recent research interest is in the area of solid-state lighting.
Over 75 technical publications and 11 patents in the areas of fiber optic sensors, solid-state laser and fiber amplifier technologies, and broadband optical communications networks.
