Dr. Mynatt first joined the Belk College faculty in 1989 and rejoined the faculty in 2010. Dr. Mynatt worked in public accounting in Birmingham, Alabama, before earning her Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Mynatt‘s research has focused on financial accounting and reporting by public companies. She has published in various journals, including The Journal of Accounting Research, The Accounting Review, Critical Perspectives on Accounting, and Advances in Accounting.
