The Health Behavior Change Lab is housed within the Department of Psychological Science at the University of North Carolina Charlotte and is directed by Dr. Erika Montanaro, Assistant Professor of Health Psychology.
Broadly, members of the Health Behavior Change Lab seek to understand how people can successfully initiate and maintain new health behaviors. Specifically, we are interested in the development and evaluation of innovative and theoretically driven prevention programs for at-risk youth. We utilize technology in understanding the behavior change process, as well as implementing and disseminating the prevention programs.
