Profile:
Jonathan graduated from James Madison University with a B.S. in Geography and a concentration in environmental conservation, sustainability, and development. During his undergrad, Jonathan worked as an ORISE intern at the USDA Agricultural Research Service with a team studying the spatial patterns of irrigation water contaminants and the use of unmanned systems for rapid water quality assessments. He spent many years camping, hiking, and running cross country, which helped to shape his interest in the physical world and environmental systems.
