In a time when the world is facing instances of conflict and injustice, the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences at UNC Charlotte is seeking student artwork that reflects students’ perspectives on peace and justice.
“Each year, we send an original holiday card to friends of our college,” said Dean Nancy A. Gutierrez. “For the past two years, we have showcased student art. This year, as we think about the growing diversity of the students, faculty and staff in our college and consider the challenges our world faces, we wanted to do more.”
As the largest and most diverse college at UNC Charlotte, the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences stands committed to serving, welcoming, and providing opportunities and access to all faculty, staff and students in our university community and beyond. More importantly, as a community, the College strives to behave in ways that respect people regardless of their differences and to reject behaviors that are exclusionary, disrespectful, or harmful of these differences. Our first priority is to ensure the safety and well-being of all members of the CLAS campus community.
