The Science and Photonics for Girls event is an opportunity for female high-school and first-year college students in the Charlotte area in North Carolina, to speak with successful young female scientists such as Dr. Janelle Shane, Dr. Linhui Yu, and Dr. Tatevik Chalyan.
We will have fun playing with light, holograms, and many optical illusions from home with Ph.D. candidate Juan Vazquez.
Dr. Rosario Porras-Aguilar will host the event where we will also share information on scholarships and educational opportunities.
Don’t miss this opportunity: November 13, from 9 to 13 hrs.
