ABOUT ME
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Statistics and Quantitative Biology at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI.
My main research area is statistical genetics and genomics. My current research focus is developing statistical and computational methodologies to quantify the proportion of cellular compositional effects in the total variation of bulk tissue gene expression, and understand cell-type specific transcriptional changes that are associated with human diseases. I am also interested in novel statistical design and analysis methods for mobile Health studies. (CV)
