Our research goals are: to pioneer new mechanisms and methodologies for nanomaterials synthesis; to understand the physical properties of the nanomaterials thus obtained; and to use these sophisticated nanomaterials to positively contribute to the society. In pursuing these goals, we are not bounded by the traditional disciplines of science.
Our current research interests are:
(1) Insulator-to-metal transitions in nanomaterials
(2) Luminescent protein biomaterials
(3) Nanotechnology to improve cancer (leukemia) chemotherapy
(4) Physics and chemistry of nanoclusters
(5) Fluid mechanics at nanometer scale
